Documentary shows disturbing conditions faced by African child prisoners

A new documentary has been released showing the extreme deprivation and disturbing conditions faced daily by child prisoners in Africa.

The documentary titled “Ten” reveals that the age of criminal responsibility in most African countries is 10. It also shows that over 1 million children are languishing in African prisons. Africa also emerges in this 30 minute documentary as the continent with the largest number of child prisoners.
 
“Ten” is produced by the African Child Policy Forum (ACPF) and Miranfilms in collaboration with ICS and Defence for Children (DCI).
