Christchurch earthquake results in closure of biometric enrolment centre

Visa applicants with biometric appointments to be contacted by phone or email

24th February 2011: Following the recent earthquake in Christchurch and to ensure the safety of the customers and staff, the UK Border Agency has announced the closure of the biometric enrolment centre until further notice.



The UKBA has asserted: All visa applicants with biometric appointments this week will be contacted in the next two days by phone or email.
