Refunds for giving up British nationality

If you applied to give up (renounce) your British nationality between 2nd April 2007 and 5th April 2010 you could be eligible for a refund.

In December 2012 UK Border Agency wrote to applicants asking them to complete the form included with their letter so they could check if the applicants qualified for a refund.

If you have received a letter, please complete the form and send it to the address below as soon as possible.

UK Border Agency will make refunds by cheque. They will not ask for, or need your bank details
