TB clearance certificates required for UK student visa applications in India

The UK Border Agency has announced that student visa applications made in India from 1st November 2012 must be accompanied by a valid Tuberculosis (TB) clearance certificate for visas longer than six months.

Those coming to the UK on a six month student visitor visa do not need a TB clearance certificate.

The UK Border Agency will only accept TB screening and certificates from a clinic approved by them in India.
