The UK Border Agency has launched a new helpdesk service for their business customers.
The business helpdesk has been set up in response to customer feedback and will offer a single point of contact for queries about becoming a sponsor or hiring people from outside the EEA.
Following a successful pilot, the new service is now available to all sponsors, businesses and Tier 1 investors.
Any business, registered sponsor or Tier 1 investor can use the service to explain policy or guidance and receive answers to queries about their own or employee applications.
As the helpdesk becomes a single point of contact, the UKBA will begin to close other email boxes and to redirect unsolicited queries to the new service.
They will continue to respond to feedback, monitoring the service offered and adding more services to the helpdesk.
