Finalists for the 2013 English Curry Awards announced

Nominations for this year’s English Curry Awards have now closed, and with well over 7,000 nominations coming in from all over England the race to be crowned at this year’s awards ceremony guarantees to be an extremely tight contest.     

The third annual English Curry Awards will take place at Salford City Stadium on the 2nd September. It is set to be a fantastic evening. The judges will now visit these shortlisted Restaurants and takeaways from all over England whilst they battle it out to make the best curry in the country.

The glittering ceremony will highlight the value of all those who work tirelessly to provide us with the perfect dish. The awards will also recognise those individuals who consume it with great passion.

Yasmin Mahmood, Operations Director for event organiser Oceanic Consulting said: “This year we have added a few categories to spice things up and received a great response to these new editions, as thousands of nominations flooded in, in support of the public’s favourite.
