Polish national killed in Streatham. Police appeal for information

Police are continuing to appeal for information following the death of a man in Streatham.

Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 11:50hrs on Sunday 13th January to reports of a man found deceased in Albert Carr Gardens, SW16.

Pawel Pacholak, 37, a Polish national of no fixed abode was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed.

A post-mortem examination gave cause of death at multiple injuries.

An incident room has opened under DCI Andy Chalmers of the Homicide and Serious Crime Command (HSCC).

Seven men and one woman were arrested in connection with the inquiry and taken to a south London police station. They were later bailed to return in late January, pending further inquiries.

Early on 16th January two further men were arrested in connection with the inquiry and they remain in custody at a south London police station.
