The Asian Awards chooses Oxfam as their charity partner

The Asian Awards has this year chosen to work alongside international charity Oxfam.

The fourth annual Asian Awards will be held on 4th April 2014 at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

Oxfam’s work is directly impacting millions of children living in poverty in Africa and Asia.

“We are very pleased to be working with Oxfam who have significant experience and heritage in helping children all over the world lead better lives,” Paul Sagoo, the founder of Asian Awards said. “Our audience is about making a difference and having such a powerful group of people in one room is bound to create an abundance of giving for change.”

Mark Goldring, Chief Executive of Oxfam said they were honoured to work with the Asian Awards to highlight significant achievements in the Global Asian community. “We also recognise and support the achievements of people who have lifted themselves out of poverty all around the world. Oxfam have been working in Asia for over 60 years and will continue to work closely with the Asian community to help alleviate poverty.”

Oxfam said they’ll use the money raised at The Asian Awards to help lift people out of poverty, by helping them make a living, access education, healthcare, clean water and sanitation.
