kenya_achievers.jpg10th April 2009: For the very first time in history, UK-Kenyan Achievers Award will be held in Bloomsbury London courtesy of London2gether Ltd.

These Awards will recognise Kenyans in the UK who have excelled in various spheres of their disciplines. Kenyans in the UK have distinguished themselves by working hard and smart despite the tough environment in Britain.

The awards are supported by Kenya High Commission and various organisations.

The Dinner Dance Award ceremony will be held at Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, Coram Street, London, WC1N 1HT on the 18th April 2009 from 6pm to 2am. There will be live performance by a Kenyan musician Marion Shako, Comedian from Kenya, fashion show and much, much more.

Guests of Honour include: Hon Dr. Oburu Odinga (Ass. Minister for Finance), Hon Julius Kiema Kilonzo, HE Mr. Joseph Muchemi, Kenyan High Commissioner to the UK, Dr. Mustafa Kapasi (MBE), Cllr Marianne Alapini (currently vying for a parliamentary seat, results to be known on 17.04.2009) and other dignitaries.
