06 October 2011. The Igbos in London will celebrate the New Yam (Iri Ji) Culture Festival on 15th October 2011.

The event organized by the Igbo Cultural Support Network (ICSN) will be a wonderful celebration of the most beautiful aspects of the rich Igbo heritage and culture. Traditional dancers, comedians, etc will entertain the guests. There will also be a Fashion Show. ICSN said that they will be serving a variety of delicious rice, yam, meat and fish dishes as well as much loved traditional Igbo soups and delicacies.

The New Yam Culture Festival will take place at Haverstock, 24 Haverstock Hill, Camden, London NW3 2BQ (Tube: Chalk Farm) from 4:00 pm to 1.30 am.
