4th April 2010: Legendary African jazz musician Paul Lunga and his group Jazz Impacto are all set to perform at this year’s inaugural Miss African Spirit beauty pageant to be held on Saturday 22nd May 2010 at Jurys Inn Hotel in Milton Keynes.
Born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe with a career spanning over two decades and hundreds of thousands of albums sold, Paul is known as the undisputed ‘King of Jazz Horns’. The critically acclaimed musician has toured all around the world and has worked with some of the world’s top musicians.

His infectious blend of Afro-Jazz mixing African instruments and rhythms with American swing has gained him legions of fans worldwide.
Miss African Spirit’s Michelle Adams says, “We are very excited and proud to have Paul Lunga and his group Jazz Impacto performing at our inaugural beauty pageant. He is one of the Africa’s most respected and talented jazz musicians and we look to forward to being blown away by his performance”.
