Register to vote for next London Mayor before 18th April

On 3rd May 2012, people from across London will have a chance to vote for the Mayor of London and the 25 members of the London Assembly.

The people you vote for in this election are responsible for many aspects of your everyday life – from the underground, local bus services, and policing, to green spaces, air quality and Trafalgar Square.

For you to vote on 3rd May 2012, you need to make sure that you are registered to vote where you live before 18th April 2012.

Anyone who is already on the electoral register should have already received a poll card in the post.

Registration forms are available from the London Elects website at www.londonelects.org.uk. London Elects is the government body co-ordinating the elections.

To be able to vote in the London elections you must: live in London; be a British, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth or EU citizen; and be 18 years old or over on 3rd May 2012.
