11 immigrants held

They were arrested under suspicion of using false identities. 29 October 2008. Police anounced that eleven immigrants have been arrested on suspicion of working at a bakery in Watnall, in Nottinghamshire with false identities.

The foreign nationals are alleged to have knowingly possessed and used false documentation, including passports, to enter the UK and obtain employment.

The eleven immigrants are being questioned and a police spokesman said they were expected to appear before magistrates in the next few days.
