Appeal for help in tracing a missing 14-year-old girl

Police are appealing for help in tracing a missing 14-year-old girl from Lambeth.

Shanay Clarke was last seen on 10th February 2016, at about 10:30 am when she left her home in Lambeth to head for school.

She is described as black, of slim build, about 5ft 2ins tall, with dark hair which is partly braided. She was wearing her school uniform of a grey skirt, blazer and black coat with white fur around the hood.

The young girl was reported seen on 17th February, in a fast food restaurant in Old Kent Road. Police believe she may be in the Southwark, Lambeth or Croydon areas.

Shanay has not been in contact with her family since Wednesday, 10 February, which is out of character for her. Police do not believe she will have a mobile phone, oyster card or money with her.
