Did you witness the racist assault on Northwold Road, N16?

Police are appealing for witnesses following a racial abuse and assault.

A 34-year-old man was racially abused and assaulted on Northwold Road, N16 at 23:50hrs on 25th November 2013.

During the incident the victim who is of Pakistani decent was walking along Northwold Road, N16 when he was approached by a man who made racial remarks and then punched the victim in the face before running off towards Stoke Newington High Street, N16.

The suspect is described as: a white man, slim built, clean shaven, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, aged between 40-50 years old and wearing dark clothing. He was carrying a can of lager at the time of the incident.
