Heathrow immigration staff on strike on 10 May

Passengers arriving at London’s Heathrow airport may experience some delays at immigration on 10th May 2012 due to industrial action by a number of public sector employees, including Border Force staff.

Heathrow Airport Limited says the Home Office has assured them it has contingency plans in place to minimise any disruption caused by the strike.

“We are operating a normal flight schedule and we are not advising passengers to change their plans,” Heathrow Airport Limited says.

Passengers are advised to keep an eye on Heathrow airport’s Twitter feed for the latest passenger advice and check with their airline for the most up-to-date information about their flight.
