“I am not the first politician for this to happen", said the Immigration Minister.
27 October 2008. On Friday night, Phil Woolas, the Immigration Minister, was hit by a custard pie in the face.
A pro-migration group staged the stunt as Mr Woolas took part in a debate at the University of Manchester.
A woman stepped on the stage from the crowd and scored a direct hit on the Labour MP.
“I am not the first politician for this to happen to and I will not be the last. It was all a bit childish. They did not say what their protest was about”, said the Minister after he cleaned himself up.
