Clear Voice Interpreters and Translation experienced a 126% increase in demand for its high quality services throughout the UK last year.

The following ten languages accounted for 85% of the calls Clear Voice received last year. Arabic (29%), Farsi (13%), Kurdish Sorani (9%), Tigrinya (7%), Urdu (6%), Albanian (6%), Chinese Mandarin (6%), Amharic (4%), Punjabi (3%), and Pashto (2%).

Established by the charity Migrant Help, Clear Voice is the only not-for-profit service of its kind operating across the UK. All profits go to support Migrant Help.

Nick Burchell, Clear Voice’s manager, said: “With the increased demand, Clear Voice is always looking for professional, enthusiastic and customer-focused linguists with high ethical standards to become part of our team, particularly if they are fluent in one of the highly-requested languages in last year’s top 10.”

Clear Voice offers high-quality interpreters for as little as 75p per minute with all of its profits supporting Migrant Help. It offers telephone, face-to-face and written and audio translations with no set up charges and clients only paying for what they use.
