New fees and application forms from 6 April

Application forms for tiers 1, 2 and 5 of points-based system are to be replaced
3rd April 2009: Following Parliamentary approval, the new immigration fees announced on 12 February 2009 will be introduced from Monday 6th April 2009 for all those coming to the United Kingdom to work, stay or study.

Also on 6th April 2009, the application forms for tiers 1, 2 and 5 of the points-based system are to be replaced (SEE THE TABLE).

new_fees2.jpgThe previous versions of each of these new forms will continue to be valid for applications made up to 21 days after 6th April 2009. However, all applications submitted on or after 6th April 2009 must enclose payment at the new fee level.
