UKBA wants to hear your opinion on the permits
8th September 2011: The UK Border Agency wants to hear everything you have to say about biometric residence permit. It has even launched a survey to get your opinion on the issue.
The UKBA has asserted: `If you hold a biometric residence permit, formerly known as an identity card for foreign nationals, or have held one in the past, we would like to hear your views about it.
`The UK Border Agency has now issued more than 500,000 biometric residence permits, and we are interested in finding out about how easy they are to use and how secure you think they are’.
It is requesting you to take part in its biometric residence permits survey, which should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete.
`The results will help us as we plan to expand the biometric residence permit scheme to cover more people from outside Europe who want to come to or stay in the UK for more than six months,’ the UKBA says.
