Launches survey to gather feedback on settlement application process
18th August 2010: The UK Border Agency wants to know how you found the process of applying for settlement, also known as ‘indefinite leave to remain’. The agency believes your comments will go a long way towards improving the services that it provides.
The UKBA says: `If you have recently applied for settlement in the UK, please take a few minutes to complete our customer questionnaire. We would like feedback on the settlement application process, and your comments will help us to improve our services.
`We would like to ask you a few questions about how you found the process of applying for settlement, also known as ‘indefinite leave to remain’. Your comments will go towards improving the services that the UK Border Agency provides.
`In particular, we’re thinking of introducing a new Settlement Checking Service, and your opinions will help us decide how to proceed with the service’.
The UKBA has asked you `fill in the survey after you have submitted your application by post, at a public enquiry office or via a legal representative.
Your answers will remain anonymous and will not affect the outcome of your application in any way.
