Judge Phillips is new designated immigration judge

He became immigration judge with Asylum Tribunal in 2005

Julian Francis Walsingham Phillips is the new designated immigration judge of the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal in Newport with effect from December 7, 2009.

According to available information, Judge Phillips, 55, was admitted as a solicitor in 1980; and was appointed as a fee-paid immigration adjudicator in 1999. He became a full-time immigration adjudicator in 2002 and an immigration judge with the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal in April 2005.
